Ready to set up shop on the virtual high street?

Unlike brick-and-mortar retail, online commerce is seeing continued year-on-year growth.  Every day, more people are choosing to buy more products over the Internet.

While the cost of entry is low, the competition is fierce. To gain advantage over the plethora of other retailers you’ll need a site with a bold attractive design; one that provides a user-friendly shopping experience with an easy checkout process, and one that’s optimised for search engines to ensure that you get the traffic rather than your competition.

Woocommerce – Our current favourite Shopping Cart

Woocommerce is a fairly new e-commerce platform that’s rapidly gaining popularity. We like it because it integrates beautifully with WordPress, our favourite CMS.  What’s more, Woocommerce delivers all the tools you need to manage a successful online shop and, unlike some of the larger solutions, it’s simple and intuitive to use.

Because Woocommerce is built on the WordPress platform, it benefits from highly flexible design templating, which means that your shop can look any way you want it to. There are also loads of low-cost plug-ins available to extend Woocommerce’s capabilities. For example, you can integrate it with your accounting software, use it to automatically post products to eBay, or even to sell items on your Facebook page.

Check out as an example website we built using Woocommerce.
